Throughout the summer of 2024, IP Inclusive are running an outreach campaign called Summer of IP aimed at university students, graduates and career changers.
The scheme hopes to raise awareness of careers in intellectual property (IP) which include jobs such as patent attorney, trade mark attorney and IP paralegal. The aim is to encourage a wider range of people to pursue IP-related careers and to improve access by providing “taster” activities and guidance. A quick summary of the scheme is available on the IP Inclusive website. Various events, including taster days and open evenings with various IP firms will be running across the summer.
For the second year running, Abel + Imray are getting involved and hosting a taster day in our London Office on 25th June 2024 which will involve talks about how to become a patent or trade mark attorney as well as tips on interview/application form technique.
If you are interested in attending the event then please register your interest via the following link, the closing date for applications is 14th June 2024.
