As a Benelux and European Trade Mark Attorney, Ellen is able to represent clients in matters before the Benelux Office for Intellectual Property (BOIP) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
Ellen joined the Delft Office of Abel + Imray in October 2021 and shares the responsibility for setting up this new office. She has been active as an Intellectual Property professional for over 20 years.
She has worked at various trade mark offices and as a result she has gained significant experience in advising national and international clients. She also worked as an in-house attorney for a number of years.
Ellen is very approachable and pragmatic. She is always looking for the most efficient solution for the client. In case of a conflict, she will always try to find an amicable solution in order to avoid costly procedures.
Ellen is experienced in all aspects of Intellectual Property, including:
- Advising on trade mark applications worldwide;
- Managing trade mark portfolios;
- Advisory work relating to infringement of trade marks;
- Prosecuting and defending opposition and revocation actions and appeals before the Benelux and European Trade Marks Office.
