As a European Patent Attorney, Peri is able to represent clients in matters before the European Patent Office (EPO) and the Unified Patent Court (UPC).

Peri joined Abel + Imray in 2018 and is based in our Cardiff office. Peri is a fluent Welsh speaker.
Before joining Abel + Imray, she graduated from Cardiff University with a Masters of Physics degree and a PhD in the application of Terahertz spectroscopy to investigate biological molecules. During her PhD she was part of the Astronomy Instrumentation Group (AIG) where she used the equipment and technology developed for space exploration to investigate biological molecules on Earth. Towards the end of her PhD at Cardiff University, she started work as a STEM communicator, working with schools, Universities and other organisations around the world. She is still passionate about STEM communication and has made a number of appearances on the radio and TV.
Peri’s work at Abel + Imray involves drafting and prosecution in a wide range of subject matter areas including optics, aerospace, and VR technology. She is particularly interested in the field of medical physics, including medical devices and technology.
