Event series: Building a brand with impact.
We held our first event in the ‘How do you build a food & drink brand with impact?’ series on 27th November in Bath, and brought together experts from design and marketing, intellectual property and food and drink producers.
L-R: Amanda Stansfield; Bob Mytton; Alison Chapman; Caroline Brooks
The audience heard some great insights from the panel about flexing to your opportunities; the importance of timing for international trade mark registrations; selling your story; letting your customers see your product; and help people easily identify your product.
We would like to thank the panel (below) for their time and insights and to Steve Ashworth for facilitating the discussion.
Alison Chapman – Harry’s Cider
Amanda Stansfield – Granny Gothards Ice Cream and PROice
Bini Ludlow – Bini Fine Foods and Sweet Cumin Cookery School
Bob Mytton – Mytton Williams
Caroline Brooks – Abel + Imray
L-R: Bini Ludlow; Steve Ashworth
The comments we received from the audience were fantastic and included:

“Wow – what a fabulous and inspiring event – I got some much out of this”
“Very interesting – having a panel was really enjoyable”

There are 3 more events planned in this series, including a London event that will take a wider look at the types of intellectual property and their uses in the food & drink sector.
