Olivia joined Abel + Imray in 2020 and is based in our London office. Prior to joining us, Olivia studied a range of sciences—cell biology, evolution and behaviour, Earth sciences, and chemistry—before specialising in history and philosophy of science. For her master’s degree, she wrote research papers on topics in philosophy of medicine, general philosophy of science, and philosophy of cognitive science. Her dissertation involved a philosophical evaluation of the development of episodic memory in artificial intelligence, and engaged with literature in animal and comparative cognition, neurobiology, artificial intelligence, epistemology, metaphysics and semantics
