Caroline joined Abel + Imray in 2001, and is based in the Bath Office. She advises clients of all sizes on both domestic and international trade mark matters, and receives consistent client feedback on her responsiveness, approachability and ability to explain complex matters in simple, pragmatic terms. Caroline has been recognised as one of the IP Stars of 2016 - 2023 by Managing IP.

Caroline manages several extensive worldwide trade mark portfolios, providing strategic advice and obtaining and enforcing trade mark rights in a variety of jurisdictions. She has an excellent track record of obtaining good commercial outcomes for her clients in disputes without recourse to expensive legal proceedings.

Caroline deals on a daily basis with the UK, European Union, International and overseas trade mark systems, frequently handling Chinese trade mark matters for her clients. She also advises on domain names, design rights, copyright and passing off issues. She is fluent in French, has some knowledge of Japanese and German, and has recently started learning Dutch.
