Matthew joined Abel + Imray in 2004 and is based in the London Office.
Before taking his M.Sc., he worked for a year as a broadcast journalist, and he has some experience of trade mark work in Australia. His work covers all aspects of trade marks including preliminary clearance searches, advising on filing strategies, filing and prosecuting applications and handling opposition, invalidation and revocation actions.
He regularly deals with the UK, European Community, International and foreign trade mark systems, with particular experience in the Far East, and advises on copyright, design and domain name issues.
"Over a period of many years we have built up a strong reputation for quality which extends not only to our products but also to the installation of them. We identify and promote ourselves globally with our brand name and this branding is a key differentiator in market with both the international design & architectural community, who specify our products, and our clients.
It is a pleasure to work with Matthew as having decided that a mark needs to be registered we are able to leave the whole process with him safe in the knowledge that it will be expedited as quickly as is possible."
